Description

This course is recognised nationally allowing you once qualified to work through Europe and other countries! It enables you to be able to work in NHS, Private and local hospital setting which recognizes you as a professional which requires you to later register with GDC and your chosen indemnity provider. The course covers your examination fee, certificate, and badge from NEBDN. Official graduation ceremony is offered at a different cost if interested. All resources needed to excel are provided via the student portal. There are 18 units which will be covered in depth by our qualified tutors. This course enables one to work while you learn, and we will assist you throughout your hunt for a placement.

Delivery Methods:

All classes will be delivered via zoom by various schedules.

Entry Requirements:

 Already be employed in a general dental surgery as a trainee dental nurse or ready to be employed

 Be 18 or older

 Have lived in the UK for the last three years

 Complete an initial assessment with the school

During the course you’ll cover a broad aspect such as the following:

 Supporting and assisting the dentist

 Medical emergencies

 Dental examination and anatomy

 Cross infection control

 Oral health education

 Root canal treatments

 Dental radiographs (x-rays)

 Support during teeth extraction and minor oral surgery

 Support for provision of fixed and removable prosthesis and much more throughout the 18 units.

For this qualification, you will be required to:

Sit two synoptic endof course assessment consisting of multiple-choice questionsCompiled of a portfolio containing examples of assessed observed practice in the workplace as well asother evidence of your growth and development during the programme along with being assessed verbally through an OSCE examination.
